Skin Camouflage

Permanent Skin Camouflage is a procedure that is applied to not only improve a client’s appearance but also to mask scars, burns, alopecia, cleft palates, pigmented skin, stretch marks and a variety of other skin imperfections.

If you have had your scar for a while, you may have noticed that it doesn’t tan the same way the rest of your skin does. It may be significantly lighter or darker than the rest of your skin which is the natural characteristic of scar tissue and not something Sonya can change however, with the Scar Camouflage procedure the scar should be less visible.

The technique Sonya uses punctures the scar tissue and this stimulates collagen production and helps blood capillaries reach the surface which is healing for scar tissue. Sonya also infuses a mix of vegan grade skintone inks into the scar to create the appearance of a more natural blended skin colour. Normal skin viewed closely is not all one uniform colour, so Sonya shades and blends to create the appearance of a more natural mix of tones using a tattoo shader.

Some scars require only a single treatment, others take multiple treatments.

Scars no longer have to be permanent reminders of tragedies past and Sonya can camouflage both surface and depressed scars, scarring from surgery, burns and accidents can be disguised and forgotten.
